Stoner Creek is a mid-size family farm located in Central KY, dedicated to breeding naturally gaited, quality Tennessee Walking horses the whole family can enjoy. We specialize in frame overo, but also have black, cream, tobiano and sabino. Slim throws some wildly colored foals, and you will definitely turn heads on his offspring. We love the old bloodlines and try to breed one or two mares a year to preserve these old lines. We're always looking for stallions with old bloodlines to add to our list of stallions we'd like to hopefully breed to. Our horses are registered with TWHBEA, and are bred for their wonderful dispositions, smooth gaits, and conformations first and foremost, and if we're lucky, an added bonus of color. Ride them thru the week and show them on Sat. night. We are located amongst the hills and hollows of Central KY, near Campbellsville, in Taylor County. Our breeding operation consists of nine broodmares and one stallion, a rare black extensive frame overo, He's Ebony And Ivory, aka, Slim.
2011 foaling season was an exciting year here at Stoner Creek Farm, with six out of eight overo foals! Slim makes us proud with the quality and color he is producing.
The colt by Firewalker's F-88 is all we dreamed he'd be and more!! We've bred Go-Boys Priddy Stormy to Midnight Minute Man, she was confirmed in foal for a late June baby. Since Beau is a grandson of Midnight Sun, and Stormy is a granddaughter of Merry Go Boy, we've been told that is considered a Royal Cross. Eb's Midnight Baby was confirmed in foal to Red Haired Stranger for a linebred Ebony Masterpiece foal as well. So excited about these breedings. Heck we're excited about our Slim breedings as well!! : ) All of our babies are eagerly awaited. These stallions of Ray Corum's are living history and we're proud to offer their foals for sale.
Email, or call for an appointment, lol there is always a stall or two that needs cleaning!! Jus' kidding! We'll brew some coffee, or fix hot chocolate, hot tea, and swap stories. : ) The only thing better than riding horses is talking about 'em!
